Objectives
1. Classification of Acute PE severity based on the 2026 multi-society physiopathological categories rather than isolate clot burden.
2.Correctly identifying low-severe patients( Categories A & B) safe for emergency department discharge and outpatient direct oral anticoagulation(DOAC) therapy.
3.Differentiate between elevated clinical severity (Category C) and incipient cardiopulmonary failure (Category B) to trigger early Pulmonary Embolism Response Team(PERT) activation.
